Mathew Kyriazis

Design Manager

Mathew started his career on tunnel boring machines and rail construction sites before moving into design. That order matters. Nine years across construction, client-side and consultancy environments mean he reads a drawing the way a site engineer reads a drawing, with a clear sense of what the model is going to ask the build team to do.

He has led design coordination on the North East Link client side through the procurement and TOC phases, including the Technical Reference Panel work on barrier systems that delivered project-wide commercial benefits. More recently he has led temporary works design management on Doncaster, BESS design at Springvale and CPS coordination on Goulburn River Solar Farm.

Mathew holds honours in civil engineering. He works best on problems where the design and the build need to come together fast.
